Due to advancing digitalization or Building Information Modelling, there has been an Increasing demand on planning security on fixing technology. Cast in Channel are systems where a channel with anchors as shown below is embedded into the concrete during the casting. These channels can be used to attach structural and non-structural components to the building. It could be used for fixing applications of Façade, Elevators, Plant and Power plants, Metro and Rail tunnels as well as Utility tunnels. No drilling is required, no damage to reinforcement bars, no delay in fixation etc… the list of advantages extend.
The preinstalled anchor significantly reduces the total operating costs when combined with Building Information Modelling. The webinar showcases the common applications and benefits of cast-in-channels and discusses the differences between cast-in channels and conventional fixings. The webinar would also cover codes, design concepts, case studies and an easy-to-use design tool.
